If you play Arena alone, locally, you will be able to select a character that will fight in the King's Arena. The Arena game will end after the player wins, loses, or quits the game. However, if there is only one player in a local Arena game, the player will have the option of choosing their character, but keep their current level, items, weapon, and animal orb on that same character.
